Our Gold Coast office has recently started working with local charity ‘Havafeed’ who offer support and meals to those in need. After meeting with the group and sitting down to talk to a few local people suffering various hardships, it really opened our eyes to a need in our community that we thought we could assist with.
As our company continually works on developing new or improving current products, we often have samples made up of various stock, or we might change the size or packaging of an item and need to run out a line of products. As such, we end up with left over stock that would otherwise go to waste going to Havafeed.
We have also introduced a charity bin in our office for food donations from our staff that is included in our weekly donations to Havafeed.
